Mt. Lookout Swim Club Tennis Program
The summer season of Mt. Lookout
tennis is quickly approaching, and I am looking forward to another eventful summer
at the courts! I have added a new siblings doubles tournament this year and we
will again have the parent/child doubles tournament.
As far as signing
up for please keep track of which sessions you have signed up for. You will NOT
be contacted unless the session is full and there is no space available, otherwise
assume that you are signed up to play. There is a $10 fee per person for each
clinic that they participate in. You will not be registered for a clinic until
the $10 fee is received.
In the case of rain you will need to call the
front desk to see if there has been a cancellation. I am going to try and post
as much information as possible on the Mt. Lookout Swim Club website, www.mtlookoutswimclub.com
, including childrens clinic schedules, adult
clinic schedules, junior team, and tournament
schedules, rescheduling of clinics, and lists of those signed up for clinics.
I will be available for private and semi-private lessons at $15/half
hour and $35/hour. Semi-private lessons are $40/hour. You can schedule a lesson
by contacting me at the club or directly at 871-0686.

Pee-Wee class will be an introduction to basic tennis skills and coordination.
I will use lower nets and nerf balls.

This group focuses on the basic skills of tennis,
coordination, and rules of the game.

This group focuses on
stroke development, point play, and rules of the game.

and Up Advanced Beginners
Time: 2:00 - 3:00
Age: 11 & Up
The
focus of this group is stroke development and match play. This group is a more
competitive match-playing group. A good warm up for high school and tournament
play.

sessions are limited to 20 participants per clinic. I will fill in the spots in
the order that I receive the forms.

Junior
Team
There will again be two divisions for both boys and girls this year.
The divisions are as follows: 18 and Under and 14 and Under. If you are interested
in playing on the team you MUST be a registered USTA member BEFORE practicing
with the team or playing in any matches. Even if you have registered before, you
need to make sure that your membership has not expired. You can register at www.usta.com.
I will need a completed registration form in order for you to practice. This will
help eliminate any confusion with the registration of players for the team roster.
